You Always Hurt the Ones You Love

by Anthony on Tue, 04 Dec 2007 at 01:01 AM (30w ago) Anyone ever experience this to be true? Being the person doing the hurting or the person being hurt? Any stories that you wish to share? Does it seem that the ones who love you are the cruelest ones of all? Or that you are cruel to the ones you love more than you are to anyone else?
Tell us your thoughts and stories. |

by Wosheh on Tue, 04 Dec 2007 at 06:53 AM (30w ago) Hurting the people we love most in life is, unfortunately, inevitable. It is human nature to find a loose thread in an otherwise perfect shirt and pull at it until it unravels completely. The saddest part is, the majority of people are oblivious to the pains they cause the ones they love. I know, looking back on many events in my life, I am guilty of that myself. In the short time it has taken to write four sentences, I have already thought of over a dozen times I have inflicted some sort of emotional strain - wether intentionally or unintentionally - on people I care deeply about. This topic is somewhat depressing so I’ll leave it at that. - I didn’t really want a depressing first post. Thanks Anthony! :P |
